Although the creation of Zdenek Sykora was presented at several exhibitions last year, yet new themes can always be found. One, quite exceptional and prepared especially for Louny (where Zdenek Sykora was born and has been living all his life) has been brought by the present exhibition. Selected paintings, watercolours and collages, which are predominantly presented for the first time, bring closer to us not only Sykora´s artistic development but also the relationship to his native town and its surroundings, to the places that formed him as a painter as well as a man. The exhibition is divided thematically by extracts of memories by the art theoretician and Louny native Josef Hlavacek. These memoirs titled Memories Are Memories were published by the publishing house verzone on the occasion of the exhibition.
